When Bakiev came to power, he promised 2 things

1. put an end to family rule
2. make State Chahhel 1 independent

Prohibiting rallies and meeting he explained that it will scare investors. We said ok !!!  Then 2007 parliamentary elections and 2009 presidential elections were not fair and transparent. AtaMeken party was obviously kicked off from parliament seats. We said ok, for the last time they were impeding president Bakiev with his pursues.

Then suddenly Bakiev changed constitution, according to old version if president is dismissed Speaker of parliament replaces him. According to his new version Presidential council (which was created recently and consisted of 7 officials and one member was his son M. Bakiev) could choose who could replace president. It was the biggest mistake and undermined constitution as main law of country.  Above all he didn't implement 2 things promised in March 2005.

What about America ? With 2 wars in Afgh and Iraq US didn't want 3rd war with Kyrgyzstan :)))  US tries to build democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan, but at the same time, didn't say anything about Kyrgyzstan which was falling behind democracy. You will say why ? In order to save US air base in Kyrgyzstan , America closed eyes to authoritarian regime "At the expense of US air base in Kyrgyzstan, America sacrificed Democracy, Freedom in Kyrgyzstan"  We don't blame America, maybe Uncle Sam wanted to establish democracy in Afghanistan and then get to Kyrgyzstan since situation us much more better then in Afghanistan or Iraq.
